Founded in 1980, Seoul Print Club is an organization formed to promote artistic exchange and the development of printmaking by women artists who want to continue the legacy of modern printmaking. From 1980 to 2021, he has exhibited a total of 43 exhibitions, and has made print works and genres widely known to the public. We try to redefine the spirit of the modern print age from the artist’s point of view and to inspire the creative will of printmakers. At the same time, it provides a new opportunity for young and promising female artists who are interested in printmaking. It has provided a path for modern printmaking, and is flexibly responding to the new changes of the times and pursuing a free spirit of artistry.
