Gallery FM is pleased to present a duo exhibition 《Relaxation,》 by LEE Dagyeom and JUNG Soojin from February 7 to 28, 2025.

For modern people who go back and forth between work and home, living busy, repetitive, and perhaps dreary lives, a day just passes by like a passing scenery. It is difficult to say that the scenery of everyday life that passes by quickly is special, but only when we have the leisure of the mind to find something special in it can we feel a new sense in our daily lives that we have felt numb to.

In this exhibition, which hopes to restore lost senses through a brief break in everyday space, the exhibition introduces around 30 works by artist JUNG Soojin, who expresses small, easily overlooked moments in everyday life and small joys hidden in ordinary stories, and artist LEE Dagyeom, who records everyday objects and places using various colors and lines and tells stories of life with lines.

In the paintings of the two artists, scenes of everyday life and natural landscapes experienced by someone are contained, and each of these scenes is interpreted as if it were our own story and evokes empathy. In addition, the images of rest that someone earnestly desires are embedded, making us want to leave at any time.
