BAE MIN JEONG

From February 24 to March 6, Minjung Bae’s exhibition will be held at Gallery Imaju. Minjung Bae explores the relationship between technology and humans, starting from inputting her experiences into an AI program.

She inputs emotional topics such as family and memories as prompts, and selects elements that evoke unexpected emotions from the images generated by AI and reconstructs them into paintings.

The process of combining more than 50 images into one work reveals human creativity and way of thinking, and is also an attempt to explore new possibilities for paintings through collaboration with AI. Just as photography became a part of paintings in the past, AI can also become a tool for creation.
