Noh, Hae Yul

GALLERY MARK is pleased to announce, Loading process a solo exhibition by Noh Hae Yul (B.1979) from the 7th of July to the 13th of August.

Hae-yul Noh is a sculptor that uses movement as his key material.

The artist who had took a mechanical approach to realize movements, naturally expanded his horizon by taking interest in scientific aspects of movements and in that process, recognizing that “art+tech” isn’t enough to explain his work, he recently began focusing on “art+science”.
Through his exhibitions “Movement of Sphere (2020)” and “No Interaction (2021)”, he visually represented the atomic movements and trajectories and, expressed his own ideas on the uncertainties in scientific cause-and-effect relationships.

He plans to take on new projects, taking on an artistic approach towards problems that are considered dilemmas in the scientific world.

Since his first exhibition held in 2001, the artist has been continuously studying movements and motility. He has participated in more than 120 group exhibitions and invitational exhibitions and held a total of 15 solo exhibitions.
