2024 ARKO Young Artist Day

Program | Artist presentation, Emerging artist Archive, Networking party, talks, etc

The Arts Council Korea will host the ‘2024 ARKO Young Artist Day’ (hereafter referred to as The ARKO Day) to coincide with the Frieze Seoul and KIAF week. This event aims to introduce various layers of Korean art in a multidimensional way to domestic and international art professionals. Following the 2023 initiative that focused on the network of nonprofit art spaces, this year will spotlight emerging artists who will lead the future of Korean art. From September 3 to 8, an archive exhibition will be held at the ARKO Art Center. On Thursday, September 5, the ARKO Arts Theater will host artist presentations, talks about the art scene, and a networking party. The artistic space triangle of Daehakro Marronnier Park, connecting the ARKO Art Center, ARKO Arts Theater, and the Artists’ House, will emerge as a platform showcasing the present and future of Korean art. As indicated by the event’s keywords , various participants will meet at The ARKO Day to inspire each other, create new meanings through solidarity and collaboration, and continue to develop and evolve.

※ This Program is for VIPs only, and the RSVP is available on Kiaf VIP App.
