▷ How did your practice begin?
My artistic practice began with performances that explored the relationship between the body and objects. As I continued this exploration, the number of collected objects naturally increased, which in turn led me to investigate the relationships between objects themselves and expand into into installation-based work.
▷ The act of ‘collecting’ appears to be a significant component of your practice.
My practice begins with the act of collecting and extends organically into the processes of storage and classification. Rather than fabricating from scratch, I work by assembling and reconfiguring pre-existing objects and components—an approach that demands a constant search for materials that are both appropriate and resonant. Over time, even items acquired with a specific function in mind start to accrue visual or conceptual significance simply through accumulation. As my collection expanded, the issue of how to store and manage these objects became increasingly central to my process. This led to the creation of a hybrid space—part studio, part archive—which I refer to as a ‘STUDIO/STORAGE’. Over time, this space itself has evolved into an artwork. In maintaining this space, I also began to collect the very systems and infrastructures designed for storage, further blurring the boundaries between artwork, environment, and methodology.

▷ What can audiences expect to see in this special exhibition?
For this exhibition, I had the idea of transporting a part of my storage into the exhibition space.. In addition to the objects used in performances, I will also be presenting storage devices and management systems as part of the collection. I understand that a relatively large exhibition space has been allocated, and I intend to fill it with various objects.
▷ What kind of experience do you hope this ‘storage room’ exhibition will offer viewers?
I see myself as a collector, and through this presentation, I hope to offer a glimpse into my collection. Above all, I hope the viewers find it enjoyable and engaging.
