Introduction
Mr. Paul Yang is the director of J.P. Art Center.
Established in 1987, Jou Pou focused its business in jewelery and antiques in the early phases. Beginning in 1992, the company expanded its operations to include art/painting and seal stone departments and changed its name to J.P. Art Center. J.P. Art Center has one of the largest exhibition spaces among privately owned galleries in Southern Taiwan and provides a common place for art enthusiasts to communicate, exchange their passion about art. J.P. Art Center actively participates in the recent movement in contemporary art by discovering and presenting exquisite artists and their work to the public. Through our passion for art and a firm believe that true master pieces withstand the testament of time. We’re providing a gateway for art collectors to find the artwork that connects to their innermost world.
J.P. Art Center was very famous by their collection of Pan Yu Liang who born Zhang Yuliang (1899–1977), was an award-winning Chinese painter, renowned as the first woman in the country to paint in the Western style. In 1985 after her death, much of her work was transported to China, now collected by the AnHui Provincial Museum. Our director Mr. Yang Hon-Bon supposes the AnHui Provincial Museum to maintain Pan Yu Liang’s artwork. And contributed some of his collections such as cheongsam which Pan worn before, three sheets certificate of award.
