Gallery Sein was opened in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in 2011 and has grown into a gallery specializing in planned exhibitions and private exhibitions. The gallery embraces a wide range of artists from famous artists to veterans while trying to find promising young artists. It also strives to function as a bridge for the international exchange of culture and arts by introducing artists from overseas. Gallery Sein has been taking part in the KIAF every year since 2016, and the following artists were invited this year.
The work of Kwon Nam-Hee is a warm, comforting message of the artist to the contemporary society that is becoming immensely individualized. The work of Kim Yeong-Hwan yearns for Arcadia based on the human-centered view of nature. The work of Surrea excels at visualizing everyday life with a keen observation. The work of Shin Su-Jin expands with the gigantic energy of small and soft objects. The work of Shin Su-Jeong visualizes arts, nature, and ego while dreaming of their unity. The work of Jung Eun-Hye is embodied calmly and pleasantly, wishing for animals to be happy.
