Since its opening in 1992, Keumsan Gallery has introduced works of artists in all genres of contemporary art. Keumsan Gallery has taken a leading role in introducing Korean contemporary art overseas and bringing major foreign artists to Korea.
Through art, Keumsan Gallery has promoted cultural exchanges with Asia, Europe, United States and UAE. It has served as a bridge for promising artists to expand overseas by participating in major global art fairs.
In 2022, in line with the trend of the 4th industrial art market and NFT art, Keumsan Gallery intends to once again, serve as a leader and connect with collectors of all age.

Upcoming August 29th through September 30th, Keumsan Gallery proudly presents Oscar Oiwa’s solo exhibition < If I were Living in… >.

Born in Brazil from a Japanese immigrant family, Oiwa art is influenced by both Brazil and Japanese culture.
Oiwa has exhibited his works across New York, Paris, São Paulo as well as Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
Earlier this year, Oiwa has successfully presented his new project at Setouchi, Japan with Pritzker winner architect, Shigeru Ban.
Oiwa has been acknowledged for his extraordinary artworks and designed the official poster for 2014 Brazil World Cup.

This upcoming exhibition is the first time in four years the artist is presenting his works in Korean and includes < My Studio > series that highlights the artist’s wit.
