The Bookcity Cultural Foundation is a non-profit foundation approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports ans Tourism (MCST). It was established in December 2003 with the aim of activating Paju Bookcity, the only national cultural industrial complex in the country.

The Foundation operates the Asia Publication Culture & Information Center, a cultural complex in the heart of Paju Bookcity. It has held various international conferences and cultural events, including the establishment of an open library called ‘Forest of Wisdom’.
