As an architect, my unrelenting pursuit involves discovering spaces brimming with potential. The age of a building or its floor level become inconsequential; my focus rests solely on the sightlines – be it a bustling street, a serene forest, or an untamed river, unexplored in the market, merging with the sky. After two years of unyielding search, I stumbled upon a haven in Yongsan. Spanning 126m2, this haven holds an antiquated commercial bathhouse crowned by a traditional tile roof, nestled in a tranquil village. A terrace unfolds, offering panoramic views of the Han River, while ample windows invite natural light to dance within. Adorned with architectural tomes, an array of art, and furniture designed for solace, we've meticulously curated a sanctuary open to all. The culmination of our efforts now welcomes you – come savor our coffee, whiskey, and the opportunity to introspect at Maha Hannam.
