Kumho Cultural Foundation has established itself as a leading mecenat institution dedicated to the development of Korean art and social contribution, beginning with the opening of the Kumho Gallery in 1989. In 1996, it expanded and relocated as the Kumho Museum of Art, serving as a vital platform that offers talented artists the opportunity to present their artistic visions beyond the boundaries of region and genre. The museum has concentrated on discovering and supporting innovative, competent young artists through its annual competition program, Kumho Young Artist, since 2004.

Leeum Museum of Art

Leeum Museum of Art is an open cultural and artistic space where Korean art and foreign art breathe together. Through this, we aim to create a new future as a source of art and culture that is open to the world. In 2004, the Leeum Museum of Art was opened in Hannam-dong, Seoul. Leeum has grown into Korea's leading art museum, both in name and reality, through its remarkable activities and achievements, including exhibitions of its high-quality collection and special exhibitions. Leeum Museum of Art seeks a future based on the past and present, and aims to become a cultural space where visitors can both enjoy and communicate with a fusion art museum that transcends eras and genres.

Seoul Mediacity Biennale

Since its inauguration in 2000 as an initiative of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Mediacity Biennale (SMB) has earned international recognition for its experimental engagement with the contemporary condition, new developments in media, and the changing fabric of the city. These themes were first explored in the Biennale’s precursor exhibition, SEOUL in MEDIA, which was held three times between 1996 and 1999. Since then, SMB has presented twelve editions which have consistently embodied ideas and activities that resonate with their time. Each edition of SMB features approximately 50 artists/teams and attracts an average of 140,000 visitors, mediating various forms of participation through exhibitions and programs held at Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) and other satellite venues throughout the city. The pre-Biennale program, operated by SeMA since 2022, explores SMB's identity through the museum’s permanent collection and digital archives as a means of reiterating SMB’s foundational characteristics.

Space K Seoul

'Space K' is Kolon group's art and culture sharing space established in 2011. 'Space K Seoul, which has expanded and opened in Magok-dong, Ganseo-gu, in September 2020, uses art to make unique social contributions, providing exhibition opportunities to new domestic and mid-level artists who deserve to be reappraised. In addition, 'Space K Seoul' strives to expand the base of contemporary art by continuously supporting artists to focus on their practice by holding exhibitions for foreign artists who are less known in Korea.

ARARIO MUSEUM

POSCO Art Museum

POSCO Art Museum is an art platform for POSCO Group. POSCO’s Holdings’s corporate philosophy is ‘a corporate citizenship growing together with society’. We share and practice the values of consideration, coexistence and symbiosis, pursued by POSCO Holdings through the medium of art. After opened as POSCO Gallery in 1995 and officially registered as a first-class art museum in 1998 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, we have been active as a corporate art museum of POSCO Group.

Platform-L Contemporary Art Center

Platform -L Contemporary Art Center opened to the public in May 2016 establishing itself as a locus for diverse and noteworthy creative perspectives which connect contemporary artists to audiences in Korea and beyond. Creators in visual art, performance and film cultivate an ongoing cultural dialogue with visitors to Platform-L’s spaces and work to diminish the cultural distance between audiences while fostering a wider appreciation for contemporary art. Thus, PlatformL aims to operate as a platform for cooperation and exchanges for artists and institutions that becomes a space for learning and exploration open to those create art and those who enjoy it. PlatformL is run by Taejin Culture Foundation, established by Taejin International and its global fashion brand Louis Quatorze, who has been supporting numerous art and cultural activities over the last few decades.

Hoam Museum of Art

Hoam Museum of Art was founded as the permanent home of the traditional Korean artworks collected over three decades by Lee Byung-chull, the founder of the Samsung Group, whose pseudonym was Hoam. With the opening of the Museum’s annex, Heewon, a traditional Korean garden, the museum lets visitors to enjoy Korean aesthetics through not only artworks but traditional Korean landscaping as well.

OCI MUSEUM OF ART

Since its establishment, the Songam Foundation has consistently executed projects for public interest, such as research and exhibitions of antique and modern artworks and study of Chinese classics alongside scholarship programs. In 2010 the foundation opened the OCI Museum of Art by renovating the exhibition hall belonged to the Foundation, located in Susong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and is dedicated to the evolvement of Korean contemporary art.
