Ryan Gander, The Find Seoul brings Ryan Gander into conversation with writer and editor Andrew Durbin to explore the ideas behind The Find Seoul, a city-wide public art project presented as part of Frieze LIVE. For the project, specially designed coins are hidden across Seoul, inviting residents and visitors to encounter art through chance, curiosity and movement through the city. The talk will examine the origins of The Find, Gander’s interest in participation and alternative forms of value, and the ways in which the project responds to Seoul’s distinct urban character.
