토포하우스는 2004년 서울 문화의 중심인 인사동에
2023년 대구 수성구에 건축가 정진국의 설계로 지어졌으며
‘기적의 상자’ 라는 개념으로 설계되었다. 각각의 전시실은
작가의 의도와 작품의 성격에 따라 다양한 모습을 드러낸다.
특히 4.6m 층고에서 쏟아지는 자연채광을 이용한 전시실은
시간의 흐름과 빛의 변화에 따라 작품의 느낌이 달라진다.
토포하우스는 국내의 신진 작가들의 재능을 최대로
발휘하여 더욱 좋은 작품을 할 수 있도록 기획전을
지속적으로 개최하고 있으며, 나아가 중견, 원로 작가를
망라하는 초대전 또한 개최하여 높은 수준의 작품들을 많은
사람이 접할 기회를 만드는 데 집중하고 있다. 작가가 예술적
재능을 마음껏 꽃피우는 장소, 좋은 사람들이 만나는 활기찬
문화의 장소가 되기를 희망하며 토포하우스는 매일 매일
예술로 기적을 만들고 있다.

Topohaus opened in 2004, 2023 as a space dedicated to Korean modern and contemporary art. There are three exhibition spaces, an atelier and an office. Architecture plays a significant role at Topohaus. The black brick building, designed by architect Jinkouk Jeong, one of the top architects, with the concept of the "Box of Miracles".
The combination of the tasteful art exhibition and the unique architecture makes Topohaus a special destination. Topohaus committed to supporting budding artists by creating an exquisite environment where they can unleash their artistic gifts to the fullest. also, it held invitaion exhibitions covering mid-career and elder artist and creating opportunity for people to experience high qulity works.
