Introduction
ARMA Gallery, directed by Arena Martínez, is a Spanish contemporary art gallery based in Madrid, committed to fostering a dynamic international dialogue within the art world. The project began in 2018, when Arena launched different initiatives related to art and art fair participation, laying the foundations for what would later crystallize into the gallery. In 2022, ARMA Gallery officially emerged as a consolidated space with an international vision.
Since then, the gallery has actively promoted Spanish artists on a global scale, while also introducing both emerging and established international creators to Madrid’s vibrant art scene. Its program focuses on a carefully curated selection of artists with distinctive pictorial languages, unrestricted by age or origin, always prioritizing quality and expressive power.
At the core of the project lies the gestural dimension of painting, with the aim of growing alongside its artists, supporting them throughout their careers, and expanding a transnational collector base strengthened by participation in international art fairs. In this way, ARMA Gallery plays an active role in the ever-evolving landscape of both regional and international contemporary art.
