| HIGHLIGHT Award Winner
I’ve been preparing for my solo exhibition and the upcoming art fairs this year. In particular, I am expanding on the work I presented at Kiaf HIGHLIGHTS last September, conducting research alongside my creative process to deepen my artistic world. I hope to continue evolving and showcasing new developments in my work.
Last winter, I had the valuable opportunity to participate in group exhibitions and art fairs overseas. In November 2024, I presented my work at ‘Stemming from Umwelt’, a group exhibition held at Tang Contemporary in Beijing, which allowed me to explore my art from a fresh perspective. In December, I took part in the inaugural Access Bangkok Art Fair, where I had the meaningful experience of engaging with a diverse international audience.
From April 25 to June 5 this year, I will have my first international solo exhibition at Weserhalle in Berlin, Germany. This exhibition is particularly significant for me, so I plan to visit Berlin in person to communicate with gallerists and audiences actively. I am especially looking forward to Gallery Weekend Berlin (May 2nd–4th), which takes place during my exhibition, as it will be a great opportunity to immerse myself in the Berlin art scene and introduce my work to a wider audience.
I am thrilled to be presenting my first solo exhibition in Germany, and I aim to continue showcasing my work on various international stages. Additionally, I hope to participate in artist residency programs abroad, engage with artists from different cultural backgrounds, and present my work to new audiences to gain fresh inspiration.
As an artist, I spend a lot of time working alone, which can sometimes feel isolating. However, receiving this award has given me a tremendous sense of encouragement and support from many people. This experience has provided a strong motivation to continue creating and has boosted my confidence in my future artistic endeavors.
