We visited the studio of Min Byung-hun, located in Gogunsando, Gunsan. The foremost photographer of Korea kindly shared the story behind his recent “Bird” series, which would be presented to the public for the first time in the long journey of 20 years, in KIAF.
In November 2020, Gallery NoW is excited to be presenting his black and white photographic works that are reminiscent of sumi-e paintings, and the exhibition would be guided by his voice-over footages, explaining how he developed the ideas behind the new and old works.
