BHAK

VENUE        BHAK

ADDRESS   19, Hannam-daero 40-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Korea

PROGRAM  Bo Kim Solo Exhibition

TIME            5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

BHAK presents Bo Kim’s third solo exhibition with the gallery. Curated by Andy St. Louis, the exhibition reflects on the aging of the artist’s parents and the quiet emotions that emerge through this intimate passage of time.

Working with delicate layers of Hanji, sand, and pigment, Bo Kim gently captures the visible traces of time—wrinkles, sloping shoulders, strands of white hair. Through these tree-like forms, she quietly asks where we come from, and who has held us up, unseen, as we’ve grown.

Gallery SP

VENUE         Gallery SP

ADDRESS    30 Hoenamu-ro 44ga-gil, Itaewon-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul

PROGRAM   Group Exhibition

“Spam and Scam” is a group exhibition featuring five artists who work across diverse media—including photography, painting, and sculpture—drawing from images where reality and fiction intertwine. The exhibition explores how media, shaped by the collection and transformation of fragmented image remnants, can challenge and expand conventional understandings of truth. As viewers move through a space where different media intersect, they encounter layered experiences of time and space.

Gallery Joeun

VENUE         Gallery Joeun

ADDRESS    3, Itaewon-ro 55 ga-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

PROGRAM   Oh Seyoul Solo Exhibition, Evening Viewing

TIME             5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

On a midsummer night, Gallery Joeun presents a special opportunity to immerse oneself in the artistic world of Oh Se-yeol.

Celebrated as a master of post-Dansaekhwa, Oh builds up layers of monochromatic paint before inscribing numbers and symbols—transforming childhood memories and traces of existence into poetic expression. His paintings, often embedded with everyday objects such as bottle caps, buttons, and scribbles, emit a quiet yet powerful resonance that captures the emotional texture of daily life.

As part of Hannam Night, this evening program offers a multisensory experience, inviting visitors to engage with the work on a deeper emotional level, accompanied by the gentle presence of music.
