We are delighted to take another meaningful step through this ‘IMAGINE’ exhibition.
A hundred years ago, Surrealists pursued the free expression of human subconscious and imagination. Now, we are witnessing the moment when their dreams are realized in a new way through cutting-edge neuroscience and artificial intelligence technologies. The works of Obvious stand as a marvelous testament to how an artist’s pure imagination can converge with scientific technology to create actual images.

David Boyd Haycock, an art historian from Oxford, shared these words ahead of Obvious’s Imagine exhibition: “Surrealism sought to liberate the human mind and break down the boundaries between dreams and reality. While artificial intelligence frightens many artists, the original Surrealists would have likely embraced it with enthusiasm. They always welcomed new techniques that could explore the unknown and the unexpected.”

This exhibition is not a mere demonstration of technology but presents a new form of art where human creativity meets the potential of technology. We invite you to imagine the future of art through works that harmoniously blend the beauty of traditional painting with the innovations of modern technology.
Our imagination knows no limits. We hope this exhibition offers you a special experience of fresh inspiration and profound insight.
