레이지 마이크는 2017년 설립된 국제 갤러리로, 2024년 서울에 개관하며 아시아 진출을 본격화했습니다. 국경을 넘는 예술을 지향하며 다양한 국적의 작가들과 협업하고, 국내외 전시 및 아트페어 참여를 통해 동시대 미술 담론 형성과 글로벌 교류에 힘쓰고 있습니다.

Founded in 2017 by Mike Ovcharenko and Tanya Stern, Lazy Mike began its program through local and international exhibitions.

From this Seoul space, Lazy Mike develops its program through close collaborations with curators, institutions, and cultural partners across Korea, the Baltic region, and the wider international art world. With connections to Zuzeum in Riga and the Latvian Embassy in Seoul, the gallery’s activities extend beyond exhibitions to include talks, artist stays, and cross-cultural projects that broaden the scope of its program.

Lazy Mike is shaped by the founders’ experience in gallery leadership, collecting, patronage, and cultural production. Ovcharenko previously served as a director and partner at Regina Gallery and is a member of the acquisitions board of Zuzeum Art Centre in Riga, Latvia, while Stern worked across television production and screenwriting. Their backgrounds continue to inform Lazy Mike’s commitment to long-term artist development, thoughtful collecting, and international cultural exchange.
