Introduction
Jonathan Dodd and Ray Waterhouse started working together in 1982 and founded Waterhouse & Dodd five years later. In 1989 they opened a gallery in New Bond Street. From there they opened galleries successively in Cork Street and then in Albemarle Street in London, and in SoHo and the Upper East Side of New York. The gallery is now owned solely by Jonathan Dodd and is based in London. Waterhouse & Dodd have exhibited at art fairs throughout the world, in Maastricht, Basel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Miami, Palm Beach, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco etc. They have staged many exhibitions from Impressionist through to Contemporary Art, and have sold paintings to major museums including the National Museum of Qatar in Doha and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
