The public interest in NFT(Non-fungible token) art was on top last year. An artwork by Beeple recorded the highest sales price at Christie’s, and the investors also paid high interest. This year, NFT art is firming its place in the art world as something to experiment with in various ways instead of as an investment object. Christopher Y. Lew, former curator of the Whitney Museum of American Art and now a Chief Artistic Director of Horizon Art and NFT Platform Outland, is in discussion with Barry X Ball, an artist based in New York who presents NFT works through Frieze, and Cody Choi, representative of the Korean Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale, about the possibilities and future of the NFT artworks.
