Installation View of ‘Echoed Vistas’<\/em><\/p>\n PIERMARQ* is pleased to present\u00a0Echoed Vistas,\u00a0a group show featuring international artists\u00a0Am\u00e9lie Bertrand, Deborah Brown, Dana James, Laure Mary,\u00a0Th\u00e9r\u00e8se\u00a0Mulgrew\u00a0and Martine Poppe to\u00a0explore\u00a0prisms of femininity, investigating\u00a0notions of identity through objects, places and environments that express visual memories, familiar experiences and interconnected existence.\u00a0<\/p>\n Capturing the spaces between the interior and the exterior, the public and the private, and the banal and the unexpected, the works intertwine narratives of strength and vulnerability, creating an interplay between tenderness and an imminent threat.\u00a0<\/p>\n Examining our modern era of hyper-virtualisation and consumerism, questions of sustainability, access and loneliness arise through uncanny tropes, pictorial flatness,\u00a0pixelation, and mark-making that references\u00a0the interactions between our daily lives and the digital.
