Exhibition Poster of ‘Motonori Uwasu Solo Exhibition “LANDSCAPE+CATS”‘<\/em><\/p>\n YOD TOKYO is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Motonori Uwasu, entitled \u201cLANDSCAPE+CATS\u201d.<\/p>\n The exhibition mainly features paintings with cats in our daily life. They are different from Uwasu\u2019s usual works which depicts cars and landscapes, and are homey and comforting with charming cats.<\/p>\n We have seven cats in our house. \nIt is a small house, so there are cats everywhere you look, but they live a surprisingly quiet life.
\nI try to keep them out of my atelier, but they try to come in.
\nI sometimes encounter cats when I ride my bicycle around the neighborhood.
\nWhen I don’t see them in their usual places, I think positively that they must be sleeping somewhere, but I get a little disappointed.
\nThe scenery I see on a daily basis is always like this, but it is a very important scenery.
