Installation View of ‘Self-sustaining order’<\/em><\/p>\n The self-sustaining order is a naturally occurring phenomenon that captures human nature and Yu Hee, Self-sustaining order, 2024, Acrylic on canvas, 38x38cm<\/em><\/p>\n My work creates an order in which paint is dropped on the canvas and naturally formed in the process of paint being pushed and scraped off the canvas by Squeeze’s repeated interactions. The composition of the screen also refrains from artificial planning. As society developed, the form of order changed according to the environment. Among human nature, altruism and cooperation created social bonds, and humans played a decisive role as successful species. If we try to criticize and regulate self-sustaining order as a moral or political standard, it means denying nature and denying human nature, and consequently, we will move away from creating a beautiful world.
