Dimitrios Tade was born in Greece, and lives and works in Athens, Greece.<\/p>\n

The works focus on the universe of characters created from his imagination. Tade brings to life mythical heroes popping out of an outer space-based video game. Some of these heroes have wings, flying around, while others come in riding on mythical creatures.<\/p>\n

The artist said \u201cMy hobby is riding a BMX bike. When I am riding it, I feel creative like painting. As for me, riding is not just a lifestyle\u201d.<\/p>\n

All the colorful and anthropomorphic figures and animals hovering in his works shown at his solo show take postures of pointing their fingers somewhere. Such signature postures vividly crystallize his imaginative theme of new dimensional space. The utilization of the raw canvas technique with acrylic, oil, and spray serves to provide new layers of depth and texture.<\/p>\n
