Artemis Gallery is pleased to present the exhibition ‘Unlimited Creations’, open from the 6th of May until the 8th of July 2022.<\/p>\n

Featuring the artists Aaron Scheer, Banz&Bowinkel, Can B\u00fcy\u00fckberber, Error-43 and Martina Menegon, this exhibition “defines the artist in the digital age as a creator of multiple and complex realities, reshaping the meaning of images, concepts, beliefs, and politics, of truth and post-truth, reality and hyper-reality, and outgrowing our ancestral bodily capacities\u201d, citing the Curator of Digital Culture at MAK – Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, Marlies Wirth, whose essay composes the structural theory of the show.<\/p>\n

Aaron Scheer (1990- ) is a Berlin-based artist who uses technology to create abstract prints or \u2018digital paintings.\u2019 He recei- ved a B.Sc. from M\u00fcnster University of Applied Sciences in 2015 and an M.Sc. from the School of Design and Crafts in 2018. His works have been exhibited at various European institutions and international galleries, including Berghain, K\u00f6nig Galerie, Museum of Contemporary Digital Art, Annka Kultys Gallery, Office Impart, and Gothenburg\u2019s International Art and Design Festival.<\/p>\n

Banz&Bowinkel, ‘Bots’, 2019<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Giulia Bowinkel (1983- ) and Friedemann Banz (1980- ) live in Berlin and have been working together under the name Banz & Bowinkel since 2009. Their work includes computer-generated imagery, animation, augmented and virtual reali- ties, and installations.
\nThe award-winning duo have been exhibited, among others, in the Museum Abteiberg in M\u00f6nchengladbach, in the Haus Esters\/Haus Lange, at the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum in Krefeld, at the Haus of the electronic arts in Basel, in the Halle f\u00fcr Kunst & Medien in Graz, at the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen and at the NRW-Kunstforum D\u00fcsseldorf.<\/p>\n

Can B\u00fcy\u00fckberber, ‘Metafold X’, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Can B\u00fcy\u00fckberber (1987- ) is a visual artist and director working on immersive audiovisual experiences, blurring bounda- ries between physical and digital spaces.
\nHis audiovisual works have toured museums, galleries and media art festivals around the world, including exhibitions and screenings at ZKM, Karlsruhe; Ars Electronica, Linz; Sonar D+, Barcelona; California Academy of Sciences, Explorato- rium and Dolby Gallery in San Francisco; Akbank Sanat, Istanbul; Art Futura, Rome; BFI Film Festival, London; MUTEK.JP, Tokyo; and ZeroSpace, New York City.<\/p>\n

Error-43, ‘Glaucus’, 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The ERROR named 43 is creating a living artwork concept to be an extension of human existence. Familiar with robotics, articial intelligence, soft structures and computer graphics, they work in-between realities, designing, programming and redering systems.
\nThe duo has been exhibiting since 2015, among others, on ISEA International, Vancouver; Circle of Light, Moscow; FIMG, Girona; Festival Criatech, Aveiro; Festival Iminente, Lisboa; live performance (with Federico del Pozzo) at Biennale di archi- tettura di Venezia, Les Vo\u00fbtes in Par\u00eds and Niu espai art\u00edstic in Barcelona; Bienal de Arte Contempor\u00e2nea, Maia; SOS Climate Waterfront, Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n

Martina Menegon, ‘It feels like home’, 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Martina Menegon (1988- ) is an artist working predominantly with Interactive and Extended Reality Art. Martina creates intimate and complex assemblages of physical and virtual elements, exploring the contemporary self and its \u2018phygital\u2019 corporeality.
\nMartina\u2019s work has been exhibited internationally online and AFK, in festivals, galleries and institutions such as MAK Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, NRW-Forum D\u00fcsseldorf, Roehrs & Boetsch Gallery, Les Rencontres d\u2019Arles, Spark Art Fair, Kunstraum Niederoesterreich, FILE Festival, WRO Biennale, Parallel Vienna, Virginia Bianchi Gallery and HeK- House of Electronic Arts.<\/p>\n
