It reflects KANG’s enduring attention to the subtle pulse of nature and the breath of life. A seminal figure in Korean contemporary art, KANG is widely recognized for his engagement with modern Korean history and social realities through the 1980s Minjung Art movement. While he is often regarded as a painter of history, another defining axis of his practice lies in his profound observation of and reverence for the natural world.<\/p>\n

\nConceived as a group exhibition that simultaneously functions as three independent solo exhibitions, the presentation resists subsuming the artists’ practices under a single curatorial narrative. Instead, it adopts a parallel structure in which each artist’s distinct visual language and conceptual world is allowed to exist autonomously. Rather than dissolving individual differences, the exhibition foregrounds the points at which divergent perceptual and conceptual frameworks intersect. It focuses on the relationships and productive tensions that emerge when the works occupy the same space, opening up new layers of meaning through their coexistence.
